Turning WINE into WATER with charity : water

Today marks a huge day for both our company and our non-profit arm, the ONEHOPE Foundation.  After being in the business of giving for over five years, we have reached over $1 million in donations to our partner nonprofits. That means that HALF of profits from each bottle of wine have provided over 125,000 meals to children, over 19,000 trees have been planted, over 1,000 mammograms have been given to women, over 448 months of life-saving HIV/AIDS medication has been distributed, and over 424 hours of behavioral therapy given to children with autism.  That is a huge milestone for us, and we have YOU to thank for it.

We are often asked how donations are made in our company, so we decided to put some muscle behind that engine of giving by launching a brand new website, bringing on an Executive Director, and expanding the platform to be able to do even more good in the very near future.

So, meet the new ONEHOPE Foundation, the world’s first Social Impact foundation.  Take a peek around the site and learn more about how we are planning to radically change how we give to nonprofits, by always quantifying the impact and communicating it back to you, the donor and/or ONEHOPE Wine supporter.

In celebration of this exciting new launch, we are also announcing a brand new partnership with charity: water with the goal of building 10 wells in 2013 and providing clean drinking water to 10,000 people in the developing world.  charity: water is one of the most transparent and efficient organizations in existence, and they parallel the goals and standards of the ONEHOPE Foundation. Help us reach our goal of donating $100,000 to charity: water by either donating direct to the foundation or buying one of these wines that are dedicated to helping turn wine into water: Pinot Noir, Anniversary Red Blend, Blanc de Blanc, Blanc de Noirs
