Hot Mulled Wine :: Recipe

Brrrr….it’s freezing!!! Even though a great glass of Pinot Noir can warm you up, what do you say we get toasty with a hot mulled wine? Picture yourself in the 1700’s on the snowy cobblestone streets of Europe as you defrost from your day!

Mulled Wine with Cranberry & Pinot Noir


1 bottle of ONEHOPE Pinot Noir
1/3 cup sugar
3 cinnamon sticks (and 1 extra per serving for garnish)
1 cup chopped cranberries

Chop cranberries in half and fill to a cup. In a small pot, combine the wine, sugar, cinnamon (sticks) and cranberries. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve the sugar. Reduce heat to a simmer and allow to cook for 5 minutes until wine has slightly reduced (if your wine reduces much faster turn the heat down or remove from heat entirely).  Strain most of the cranberry from the mixture, but allow some for garnish and added flavor.  Pour into four mugs and serve with a cinnamon stick.
